Global option for mercurial executable

hey,

Within my setup I use multiple eclipse workspaces on different
repositories. A lot of time someone has created a small project and I
want have a clear view of that, so I put it in a small separate
folder. Unfortunately the current HGEclipse binary is a somewhat lower
version than I need (issue with .dotencoding I believe), so I have to
change the 'mercurial executable' setting in my workspace. As this
setting is bound to the workspace I have to do this for every new
project.

Is there a way around this at the moment?
