Which version to install

I was just wondering which version or branch I should install for a
new project I am starting. The reason I ask is that there seems to
have been some activity from different collaborators (looking at the
project in Github) since the 0.8.2 release and I would like to start

Hei.

There was some discussion on getting pagination to work in blogs with
multiple sections. I found a rather easy solution for that. First, use
the original [1] article to set pagination up properly. Afterwards,
look at the description and apply my little patch [2].

Awesome! I thought about updating the old xmlrpc plugin a while back
to get it working. I'm glad you put in the time. Also, somebody
should notify the Blogo guys ([link]).
They were wanting to get their blog editor working with Mephisto about
a year ago - but the xmlrpc was broken.

I've added a new feature others might be interested in using.

I tend to be very hit-or-miss when I post to my blog. Unfortunately,
this means some months actually go by without a single post. Even
many months in a row.

Thanks Bryan, I'm not clear if lovd supports a multi-domain/site
configuration i.e. user1.domain.com, user2.domain.com etc. What about
using Tog for the social networking features but Mephisto as the
core? Any other suggestions?

Thanks Bryan - I don't believe lovedbyless can support a multi-site
configuration where anyone can create their own social network/blog.
Does Mephisto's multi-site configuration function as a blog host where
anyone can create their own blog through it?

Mephisto mulit-site serves multiple single sites from one application
instance. It is good for running several blogs from one server/vps,
but doesn't have the community features(groups, user blogs, newsfeeds)
that buddy press has. It would probably be easier to add content
managment to a social networking app. You might want to take a look
