try removing one bushing. The wood can in certain weather sometimes go a
tiny little bit like this -->

of course gives the bushings a really bad day. 3 points define a
plane in 3d space, need 4 points for a saddle, so with only 3 bushings
constraining the bed they shouldn't be able to bind.
