Hi All,

I just ordered myself some Thomson leadscrews.  Does anyone have a link to X-ends for
* 10mm smooth rod bronze bushings on Z
* Thomson leadscrews
* 8mm smooth rod on X axis

If not I will have to do my first attempt at designing a part, if I can get the dimensions for the Thomson leadscrews.

Thanks!

Did you search the Thingiverse?
I know there are a couple of different variations of X-ends there for use with 10mm bushings, but not sure about the combination of Thomson leadscrews (you didn't mention the size of those, or which nuts you got...)

You may just wind up with requiring a new design.

I thought printable adapters are available?

From the product details (http://store.trinitylabs.com/thomson-linear-leadscrews-pair/)

The hole spacing on these leadscrews is not compatible with the hole spacing on our older Precision Leadscrews. The optional Leadnut Adapters allow you to use these leadscrews with the old style printed X ends. They include the two required printed parts, plus all necessary hardware. If you are designing your own X ends, the hole pattern on these leadnuts is 3-5mm holes in a .5625" pattern radius. You can download the STL for the Leadnut adapter here. Note the adapters for the PBC and Thomson Leadnuts are not compatible.

Eek that wasn't there when I was thinking about buying them...I guess I should have looked closer before posting.

Off to design my first print part while I wait for the leadscrews to arrive!
