Explanation of Low Science/Math/Social Studies Scores in Memphis City School
|
| |
Can this explain some of the low scores in science/math/social studies in Memphis? Ken Ham will denounce physic, geology, biology & astronomy as legitimate forms of knowledge. Then claim that church (not the social sciences) are the true path to social reform. Next, Mr. Ham will advocate instead of embracing these fairytale disciplines such as physics to accept a more solid foundation of knowledge based on the Holy Bible (God's knowledge instead of Man's knowledge). The Memphians in the church will shout "Amen" when he does this sermon against the sciences.... more »

Condemned by the Bible
|
| |
Hi y'all - while I abhor his crime, I feel that justice was not dished
out in this case. It seems that the jury had their own interpretation
of the 6th commandment.

Hi y'all - this report suggests that my decaf lifestyle is wrong! I do

bouncing on the seat - that's a powerful drug!

as a child to hate RCs I find it astonishing that Anglicans can
embrace the Pope so easily. 300 years of war in Northern Ireland has
been over this very topic. Nice to hear that at least one church ( C... more »

Religious Shooting?
|
| |
Hi y'all - I find it hard to believe that the military shooting today
was not motivated by religion. Although the perpetrator's military
record shows "no religious preference," on the morning of the
incident, he was apparently dressed in Muslim attire and he shouted in
Arabic "God is Great" before he opened fire. This, together with his... more »

Prayers put him in prison

Hi y'all - this guy prayed for forgiveness, so he was caught. Also
noticeable is the fact that CCTV cameras recorded him putting on
gloves before the crime!

Hi y'all - as soon as they insure me for "healing" prayers, I'll be
sending a weekly invoice for all the praying I do to keep me away from
doctors.
