Hi y'all - I found this to be an interesting article. I was surprised
to learn that Evolution and Stem Cell research are taught in Iran. Of
course, they are mainly Shiite Muslims, but that shouldn't account for
this apparent sanity. I wonder how they reconcile that with the Koran?

I liked the David Brookes Op-Ed where he call Palin a "cancer" on the
Republican party. Dumbing it down too much.

I do see parallels between Quayle and Palin. I think both Bush Sr. and
McCain focused too much on getting a Veep who wouldn’t overshadow them and
who would appeal to the Christian Fundamentalists and Teabaggers.
