Hi y'all - I haven't read her book, but I believe there are two forms
of Islam. Those who have read the Koran and those who haven't. Those
who have read the Koran and adhere to their faith are by definition
"fundamental" because the Koran is quite clear. There is some excuse
for those who have not read the Koran as they can be coerced by their

 Letter to the Editor:
With the two Fs that the Tennessee Department of Education gave Memphis City
Schools, I am not sure if this news is being celebrated or frowned upon
by our Memphis community. Are some people proud to see Fs in science and
social studies?
While interacting with Memphians over the years, I have repeatedly heard that

Hi y'all - I think that the "lectures" you refer to are unlikely
contribute to the low scores mentioned. Those who normally attend, and
accept the truth of these lectures, are incapable of scoring at all
IMHO.
I wish I could attend!

Can this explain some of the low scores in science/math/social studies in Memphis? Ken Ham will denounce physic, geology, biology & astronomy as legitimate forms of knowledge. Then claim that church (not the social sciences) are the true path to social reform. Next, Mr. Ham will advocate instead of embracing these fairytale disciplines such as physics to accept a more solid foundation of knowledge based on the Holy Bible (God's knowledge instead of Man's knowledge). The Memphians in the church will shout "Amen" when he does this sermon against the sciences.
