Calling all solar scopes and interested parties. We have been invited by Shelby Farms to observe the transit of Venus on June 5th . It will be visible from 5:22 pm until the sun sets at 8:07 pm. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, as the next Venus transit occurs in 2117. Spread the word. Invite your friends. If you have a solar scope, please plan on volunteering. If you are coming with scope please let me know so we can plan. If you don’t have a solar scope, please plan on coming out anyway.
