memcachedb bdb transaction

I found that memcachedb use bdb with transaction.

And is there a method just using CDS not TDS?

I think this question is more like using MyIsam or InnoDB in mysql.
They all have Pros and Cons, but we choose TDS because we need a
reliable storage with fast recovery and HA. This is a key feature to
large scale web 2.0 application. Also a transaction engine may have
other benefit from WAL(Write Ahead Logging).
