bdb 4.8 with mdb/mq is much better?

wondering if there's folks who have anything positive/negative to
report w/ bdb 4.8. i'm wondering about

* stability
* compatability
* performance
* and the new bulk features --is this relevant?

There's not big improvement to MemcacheDB, but anywany, we will update
to db 4.8 in next version. Some new feature in db4.8 may be enabled as
options in MemcacheDB.
