memcached(1.4) will hang for multiple threads

I send request via Jmeter. When setting more than 3 threads to send
the requests, program will hangs on memcache. Did some one experience
this before?

What is hanging? What does the test look like?

I'm pretty sure people have done stuff with memcached and more than
three threads before. :)
