Subject: GHOP Meeting on 18th September, 2009 - links to logs and a short summary

Hi everyone,
We had a meeting regarding GHOP on #melange today, i.e 18th September
2009. The meeting was about next steps of Melange to get GHOP up and running
and task assignments to people who want to make GHOP happen. The logs of the
meeting was posted just a few minutes back by Augie Fackler at [0]. The
meeting logs are also available starting at [1] and ending at [2].

We walked through all the TODOs listed on GHOP TODO page at [3] one by one
and asked people to chose the task of their interest. Pawel has chosen to
work on the TODO item related to adding Timeline based support to student
and mentor actions for GHOP Tasks. Lennie said that he will be creating a
thread on the Mailing list where people can ask for Mentor access to the app
on demo instance by providing their link_ids. Sverre volunteered to help
those who are interested in writing tests. People can also ask on melange
dev list or #melange IRC channel for any help in general and especially
regarding writing tests. I will be working on adding Approve and Publish
buttons to bulk approve and publish tasks page.

Thank you for taking notes, Madhu. And thanks to everyone who attended
today's meeting. Looks like things are kicking off to a good start.

Augie was also kind enough to post his logs. [0]

I sent a message to a few people asking if they'd have any resources
to devote to documentation and also to Titus asking if he can help us
recruit some help from his Python testing mailing list.

What are the next steps beyond getting folks testing and filing bugs?
I'm willing to bribe folks with beer on my dime and shirts on Google's
dime for actual code. :)

Cheers,
LH
