I'm back with more to tell you.

1. I've revamped the (retro)blog.

I'm posting real pages from the writing notebooks I kept while
working on Sloppy Firsts. I'll move on to Second Helpings, Charmed
Thirds, Fourth Comings, and The Fifth and Final Book in the Jessica
Darling Series That Doesn't Have an Official Title Though Fifth and
Final is Kind of Catchy. I'll keep up this new phase of the (retro)blog
until I run out of pages or patience.

2. I'm part of a new social/professional group of New Jersey writers
and we're looking for other authors to join us. Are you a published (or
about to be) author for children, middle grade, or teens who lives in
the Garden State? Are you a librarian or educator
who would be interested in having authors from New Jersey appear at your
