the way it keeps your hands relatively clean while you eat your
sandwich.
saves on napkins, water usage, soap, and whatnot.
in that way, sliced bread is an environmentally friendly food.
and a budget friendly food as well.
because it helps keep your grocery bills and utility bills down.
ever so slightly.
next up, some nutter will claim that bread is a communist conspiracy.
rightwing paranoia -- the worst thing since non-sliced bread.

Compared to what? How is non-sliced bread, i.e. flatbread, inferior?
thickness?
sliced bread can absorb more ketchup and stuff.
since flatbread has a harder crust, it cracks when you try to use it
to make a sandwich, so it doesn't work for sandwichs as well as sliced
bread.
soft shell pitas work pretty good though.
but i'm pretty sure pitas and soft-shelled tacos were invented after
sliced bread.
so there.
i've defended my playful analogy as best as i can.
thanks for helping me add to the poem.
and welcome to megablog.
you're the first commenter!
and you've added two questions to the megablog total.
but no non-questions.
so how does it feel?
speech! speech!
