hello,

we're using a bunch of mediawiki installations to operate several
inter- and in-dependant wikis. right now i'm reconfiguring the system
to use symlinks to one mediawiki code base instead of a dedicated
installation per wiki.

while doing this the question arose, whether a shared
compiled_templates directory could cause any problems if widgets are
used in more than one wiki. could anybody give me any notes on this or
maybe even the all-clear? ;)

thanks & best wishes: jan.

Yes, this might be a problem, especially if your wikis use different databases.

directories. ;)

thanks! jan.
