One way of realizing top value for your boat or equipment is to donate it
to a tax-exempt institution or organization. In some cases, it can be
economically advantageous to receive an income tax deduction rather than to
sell a boat outright. Your boat or equipment may be the perfect addition to
our fleet, and donation may be the most advantageous way of disposing of
your yacht or boat. In addition, by donating your boat to Sea Scouts, you
benefit from knowing that you are helping to support an active waterfront
program that builds leadership and character. For many boat owners, giving
their boat to a training program enabling many youth to experience the joys
of boating is preferable to selling to an individual.

Just go to the boat donation link at
http://joinseascouts.com/boatdonation.html.

Proceeds help expand local Sea Scouting programs. Donations are tax
deductible to the extent of the law and will be picked up for free.
