Dear All

I am trying to get experiments running under Topspin 2.1 and have hit
a problem with the version of nussampler.
The machines I am using are running Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS
release 3 (Taroon Update 2) - 32 Bit. I have a macro from Bruker which
creates a nus_setup.in file, which is in a different format to the
Varian nls.in file. The problem is that whilst newer versions of
nussampler can read and create a sample schedule using the Bruker
style .in file the only version of nussampler that runs on the host
computer is from mddnmr1.6/Linux32b (and I have checked all other
versions from 1.6,1.7,1.8 and 2.0).

Does anyone know of a working nussampler that can read the Bruker
format .in file on this type of computer?

many thanks
Richard

Dear Richard,

You should install Topspin at least 3.0.3 to run NUS-type experiments.
Even if your solve the problem with nussampler, your will not be able
to switch to non-uniform_sampling mode (FnTYPE=2) and start
acquisition.
in NUS. This is because all standard bruker pulse sequences have been
changed
to be compatible with this acquisition mode. The syntax of
F1PH,F1EA,F2PH and F2EA
mc statements have been changed and the the new pulse sequences could
not
be executed in Topspin 2.x.

Sincerely,
Maxim
