This contract position, Senior Web Application and SharePoint Developer, is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ?SharePoint? based and custom-built applications, packaged system solutions, and websites for UW Medicine external and internal customers across many different functional areas.

A. Mandatory Experience and Qualifications
o Strong Microsoft.NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET, etc.) experience ? minimum of 7 years
o Strong knowledge of object oriented programming techniques.
o Minimum of 7 or more years professional IT experience developing and maintaining websites and applications.
o Strong working knowledge of Javascript, html, xml, css, and other web development technologies.
o Demonstrated knowledge of modern web methodologies, browsers and social media.
o Minimum of 7 years’ experience in:
o Visual Studio .NET
o C# .NET
o JavaScript
o HTML
o SQL Server and stored procedures
o Systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering, functional design, and technical design.
o Working knowledge of modern web browser technology, features, and functionality
o Proven experience with unit and systems testing
o Proficiency with PC based productivity tools, including Microsoft Office
o Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems for servers and workstations
o Demonstrated initiative, follow-up and the ability to prioritize effectively
o Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills
o Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction, independently and as part of a team
o Proven experience with unit and system level testing
o Experience in a team development environment using Microsoft Team Foundation Server
