Oh the pain...oh the agony. Virtual machine is working (for the time being) on Windows 7 Home Premium Edition.

Nobody needs to work on getting VirtualBox running on Windows (since Sheng already has his working, and we now have ours working).  Maria can use my machine as a server.

Unfortunately, I "think" I know the steps that I went through to get it to work.   But, I tried SO MANY things, I can't be guaranteed what was necessary.   The last two things I tried were:

1. For some reason, Windows 7 Home Premium edition VirtualBox's settings for the MAC addresses for the network settings are not correct.  I don't know if VirtualBox is not "respecting" those settings or what the issue is.  But, whatever the case, I had to run "ifconfig -a" to get all the network interfaces, then grab the MAC address for eth0, and then go edit the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and type in the correct MAC address obtained from "ifconfig -a", and then restart the network.

2. Now that I had a valid eth0, within the Settings/Network for the NAT network adapter, I had to wipe out the guest IPs for the Port Forwarding.  And, I had to add a "Bridge Adapter" that was correctly configured for my Windows network adapter (thanks Sheng).

3. I did a few other things like mucking with the Windows firewall, but I don't think they had any affect (other than to allow Maria to get to my virtual machine).  So, hopefully, when Victor gives us a new drop of the VM, it should be straightforward to import it.

That's all for now.

Well done man! This is a huge relief, I was pretty much out of ideas about where to go next besides using the real server to develop against.
