Alesia Adams, an expert on human trafficking and sexual exploitation with The Salvation Army Southern Territory, will be speaking at Berry Street Worship Center on Sunday morning (Aug. 1) during our 10:45 meeting.  And then again on Sunday night at 5:30 on the topic "What Can We Do About Child Sexual Exploitation?"

Ms. Adams has appeared on television news reports about child sexual exploitation on Oprah Winfrey’s Oxygen channel, PBS, NOW, and CNN.

For the past ten years Ms. Alesia Adams has been an advocate for young women and children who have been sexually exploited.  Ms. Adams has lectured nationally in more than 150 conferences for the U.S. Department of Justice, schools, churches, law enforcement agencies, therapists and judges.  She has helped increase public awareness about the youth and teens that are recruited, kidnapped and indoctrinated into prostitution or other forms of sexual exploitation.
