Setting up this google group was a good idea. I'm going to try and
get my students up on this thing so they can contribute...this is
their turf afterall.

I didn't make the Tuesday meeting (we had an event) but I heard it
went well. Again I would emphasize that people come to Christ largely
through the work of God, that we have a very small part to play, and
that our part is to herald or proclaim the gospel message. Therefore,
to get our part done, everything we do should have two goals:

1. It gathers together in once place poeple who DON'T know Jesus
2. It allows us to proclaim the gopsel to them through word and deed

Unfortunately much of what we do is geared toward getting a lot of
Christians together and presenting the gospel message to them, if it
is presented at all. I'm not saying we can't have fun stuff for no
other purpose, but most of our programs and events should be geared
towards reaching those two goals. Perhaps a step forward would be to
evaluate everything we do by asking two questions:

1. Does it gather non-Christians?
2. Does it allow us to present the gospel in word and/or deed?

And then we should pray more. We must constantly be praying that God
does his part, which again, is 99% of the job.

When are we slated to tackle the next missional marker? The conflict
one? The Bible gives some pretty clear lines of process on that
one...we should be able to import that into a policy manual of our own.
