FP in C

I hope somebody still reads this area. At least it's worth a try :-)

Do C programs compile with the C86 compiler all floating point maths with
own libraries or do they rely on the OS qa.[m]op function? If it's the
first option, is the FP format compatible?
And I've heard something of FPU support. How is it done?
