  Hi, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Is there an easy way to convert an .mat file into a .jpg file? I have &lt;br&gt; been trying to read a grey intensity file (.mat) and save it into a &lt;br&gt; jpg file but somehow the scaling does not work. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I guess this should be straightforward with save or imwrite ... &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Does anyone have a suggestion? &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Cheers

On the plot, the precision is not &lt;br&gt; uniform, i mean it has 2.1, 2.1003, 2.10423, 2.3, 2.0004123 ....... &lt;br&gt; etc. I want only double precision (only 2 numbers behind decimal). How &lt;br&gt; can it be controlled.

  Hei people, &lt;br&gt; I am wondering if you guys know what happens: &lt;br&gt; I have a loop where at each passage I invert a huge sparse matrix &lt;br&gt; (7500 rows!); &lt;br&gt; matlab takes about a minute or so to compute the matrix the first &lt;br&gt; time; &lt;br&gt; after that, it goes through each loop very very very fast. &lt;br&gt; is that possible? &lt;br&gt; thanks &lt;br&gt; Ross
