Hi,

After our successful beta testing, we’re happy to officially release MathJax v2.1.

The `latest` address will be switched over to 2.1 at 12pm PDT, Tuesday, 23 Oct, 2012.

Thanks for your continued support!
The MathJax Team.

Please give dates and times in GMT, using the 24-hour clock and preferably ISO 8601 notation.   Everyone should know the relationship between their local time and GMT.  It is better for one technically-competent person to do that conversion from their local time than for the rest of us to do it from someone else's local time.  Of course, author's local time can be given as well; it provides a check on the GMT.

At 2012-10-24 10:17 GMT I am still seeing "MathJax library version : 2.0".

Hi,

You might have the 2.0 versions cached in your browser, so make sure to clear your cache and restart your browser.

If the problem persists, could you send us the server address you get when you ping cdn.mathjax.org? That way we can try to identify if there are problems on the edge server that serves you.

Best,
Peter.

Hi folks,

MathJax has been an wonderful tool for my blog, but I have been frustrated that I cannot get equations to render nicely for readers consuming the content through RSS, such as Google reader.  This seems like it would be a common issue so I was wondering if there is a recommended best-practice to work around this?

(I currently use the javascript from mathjax, though I suppose rendering through mathml+mathjax css wouldn't help either?)

Thanks for your suggestions,

Carl

Hello, dear MathJax developers! First of all I want to thank you for this great component.
Working with MathJax I found russian letters are not formatted. Will this feature be added into the next or the nearest version?
Thanks a lot for MathJax!

Thank you for your kind comments about MathJax.  I'm glad that you are finding it useful.

Can you be more specific about your situation and how you are entering the letters?  For example, are you using TeX commands for Cyrillic letters, or are you entering the letters directly from the keyboard?  A sample page exhibiting the problem would be most helpful.
