I tried it yesterday and the polite thing to say is "I'm glad they are trying". If you try it, you'll see they have lots of work ahead of them. If you try it on a non-MathJax page, you can sort of hear the math, but of course, you can't see it because Chrome won't render the MathML. So it is a semi-first: the page is more understandable to someone who uses AT than it is to the rest of the world.
I asked a friend who is blind for his opinion and he said he couldn't even install it: "
