is there any layer funcitionality inMathGL 1x and 2x or is it planed?

Hi,
I don't know how I can answer correctly. Formally, there is no special
layer functionality. But picture is true 3D (i.e. x,y,z) internally. You
see just a projection. So, from this point, there are infinity number of
layers (or be more precise -- about 10^7 layers for float, and 10^15 for
double).
