Hi Mass Butterfly People,

   Saw an Orange Sulphur at Plum Island yesterday. Besides all of the flies attending a dead Northern Gannet on the outer beach, it was the only insect I remember seeing.

   The MBC annual meeting was just great, as usual. Please plan to attend the spring meeting, which will feature mainly photographs

by Massachusetts Butterfly Club members and Masslep members.

   On the subject of collecting, heavy collecting, and every other sort of collecting can we just agree that it goes on, that most Massachusetts butterfly people do not kill butterflies, that some people do, and that every time collecting is mentioned it does not have to be defended here.
