Found what I am pretty sure is a Dusted Skipper at Crowe's Pasture today. The white spot at the base of the hindwing is missing but the eye looks right:
Otherwise a fairly routine day:
3 Azure sp.
60 Pearl Crescent
2 Tiger Swallowtail - presumably Eastern this being Cape Cod, but they were on the wing
5 American Lady
2 Little Wood Satyr
1 Monarch
2 Common Ringlet
4 American Copper
Saw another eight-spotted forester/white-spotted sable, seeing a lot of these lately and assume today's was an 8-spotted due to the orange spot near the front legs, but I just do not yet have the experienced eye to decipher these hyperactive little bugs on the fly. Working on it. No chance at getting a photo.
