Announcement coming soon about new T-Alerts feed (and more)

All,

You may be hearing that we're launching a new T-Alerts service. Subscriber
signup is beginning today, and the service is scheduled to launch on June
4th. You may also have heard about a new API; we're getting ready to roll
out a new API that will include the new T-Alerts and a whole lot more.

Recently I saw a tool on a real estate website that gave the distance from
a property address to the closet MBTA station.
Can someone advice as to where to get and how to apply this tool.

Subway real time Feed 2.0 XML ?

Hi,
I have an android app for the buses and I was planning on extending it
to display the subway information. Does the subway feed 2.0 come with xml
as well ? Are there any plans of providing an xml feed for the subway real
time. Thanks in advance.

im trying to build a app for commuter rail that i take every day, im doing
this partly to learn this aspect of android with the added bonus of knowing
where the train exactly is...

GTFS-Realtime Bus Vehicle Locations Feed

There is one little slight issue with the vehicle locations GTFS-RT feed. With the vehicle ID field, the field isn't being populated with the vehicle ID and when I use OneBusAway, the vehicle ID shows up as the block ID and not the vehicle number. Just wanted to note that. I might have an example photo when I get to it.

MBTA App development and relationship agreement

I have developed an app for MBTA buses and I am planning on releasing it
soon and I was wondering about the relationship agreement. Is there
anything in particular that I need to address in my application
description. Should I inform MBTA about the app (like sign a form etc...
?).
Suggestions would be appreciated.

Is this commuter JSON for real?

I've been piecing together an MBTA app via Kivy for several months now,
slowly, but surely.
It's been quite the adventure, since MBTA's data is spread across 6
different systems and ways to retrieve the data.
Why, Subway has one JSON way, Bus's are through an entirely seperate
NextBus service, schedules are 9 different csv text files
