Making decisions together without any leaders telling them what to do.

 

Join us to watch and discuss “Convite” and “Un poquito de tanta verdad”, two films about cooperation and resistance in contemporary Latin America.

  

“Convite” (2008) is a video about agricultural self-organization and cooperation in the Dominican Republic.

 

“Un poquito de tanta verdad” (2008) is a film about the popular rebellion in Oaxaca, Mexico, where solidarity and decision-making by consensus helped working people resist the police and the army over the course of a year.
