Veterans for Peace Autumn Fest--October 31

This is to remind you about our party coming up this Saturday, October 31st. Please take a breather from your intense schedule and join us for a relaxed gathering in Millersville, Maryland between 3:30pm and 8:30pm. For your contribution [a favorite dessert from your group + a suggested $20] to Veterans For Peace you’ll receive:
First you’ll get ‘chilly’-actually homemade vegetarian chili from a time-tested recipe- along with energetic, toe-tapping tunes from Bob Perilla’s Big Hillbilly Bluegrass band. Then, after dark, we’ll warm you up with a roaring bonfire, along with vocals from the talented Ryan Harvey. There will be yummy desserts to share. And there will be plenty of drinks, whether you prefer beer, wine, soda, coffee, tea or good ol’ water. Best of all you’ll spend time with like-minded folks from across the progressive spectrum!
For those traveling by private vehicle, there is plenty of curbside parking. And there’ll be someone available in that regard, should you want assistance! If you need directions to 1712 Baldwin Drive, Millersville, MD 21108, please let us know when you R.S.V.P.
For those using public transport, contact us at 410.721.3482, or at autum...@comcast.net, and we will schedule a pick-up from a nearby transportation hub!
This is not a costume party. Come as you are or, if you are so inclined, don clothing that suggests your purpose and/or passion! Either is fine. Just come! And if you’ll wish to sit, please bring your lawn chair.
Finally, so that all may enjoy Autumn Fest, we could use a little help. If you’d like to work a two-hour shift at such tasks as hot-food server, hot-drink server, dessert server, or cold-drink server, please contact us as noted above and we’ll get you scheduled!
