I agree completely with the considerations that Mike brings up. In
addition, I could not help but noticing that by Sunday noon both the
staff and attendees are dead on their feet. It is really a mercy to
send them on their way. And just like with kids, it is better to send
them away when they are still friends. They are so tired that they
are apt to be cranky... very cranky in fact.
Also, many years the MD folks have had to worry about bad driving
weather closing in on them, and have bolted earlier than scheduled.
