extending programming through Sunday night?

it would be interesting to see, but I have a feeling it might take an
event or two for it to really kick in.  MarsCon seems to have a lot of
returning people who may be Used to programing being light on Sundays.
They may not stick around for later scheduled programming.

And there is also the takedown time to consider. The further back you
push closing the event, the later it is before your staff gets home.

I agree completely with the considerations that Mike brings up.  In
addition, I could not help but noticing that by Sunday noon both the
staff and attendees are dead on their feet.  It is really a mercy to
send them on their way.  And just like with kids, it is better to send
them away when they are still friends.  They are so tired that they
are apt to be cranky... very cranky in fact.

Also, many years the MD folks have had to worry about bad driving
weather closing in on them, and have bolted earlier than scheduled.
