What happened to all the ITB cars for M1?

Looking at the registration list for M1 2022 and only see one (most likely mis-classed Audi A5) registered for ITB. Did I miss a memo or something?

Ok, maybe pipe dream. There are also only 6 ITS cars, so we'll see.

I was thinking 3rd weekend in April per tradition, so 3 heads at the machine shop none on the block in the car and did not block out the dates at work so got scheduled to work a drift event on Sunday. Next time for sure.

We’re going to a wedding in FL that weekend. Planning to make the next MARRS race at SP. 

Love having the MR-2s with us, but wish they had restrictor plates or more weight. They are too fast, and well driven!

I don’t think Windsor will be there. His cancer treatments are holding him back for now. 

Chuck and Matti are planning to run HP so they can go to the Runoffs at VIR this fall, like Hayes did last year at Indy. 

Hopefully, car counts will improve.

Hello Gang,

I haven’t responded to this group in a long time but the other day I dragged my old ITB car out of the woods in an abandoned lot that was sold.  It’s pretty rough and has been there for about 6 years but I’m planning on fixing her up and re-joining where I started in racing.

So it looks like there’s still hope.. at least for later in the season. I’m debating possibly just running production since last I checked only 8 cars total signed up for our group (6 of which were ITS). I guess I’ll make up my mind before the end of the weekend.

Got mine pretty much together, ran it at the seat time last TH. Engine stayed together so now need tires. Will be at and driving at M3 @ Summit Point. Not making to NJMP, doing other fleet maintenance.
