Subject: feature request? slicing
Hi,

I had occasion to try to slice a string and discovered that slicing
isn't supported. Is that on the stack for a future version or do I
need to argue the case/post a feature request?

Cheers,

Graham Higgins.

Slicing should definitely be supported (not saying that it works,
though, only that it *should* work :-P)

What kind of error are you getting? Can you file a ticket including
the traceback?

Cheers,
Chris

The ExpressionASTTransformer needs a "visitSlice" function:
http://markup.edgewall.org/ticket/51

I'm working on a patch.

Thanks Matt. I did end up at visitSlice but it was several days ago
and I lost the (mental) pointer. I solved the issue for myself by
pushing that functionality back into the model.

Cheers,

Graham.
