Dan,

Those of us in the hinter lands appreciate it. Someone recently brought the Port of Savannah in Ga. back online. I am greatful to them. That port I can reach by car in a couple of hours. Great photo ops when you know who is in town. 

Again, thanks to those who set up and manage these stations.

I'm in the process of setting up a SR161 receiver to report traffic in
Boston harbor but there are problems with the sr161. The data error
rate is over 95% but I can report some positions to Marine Traffic and
have seen ships 17 nm away. I'm working with the distributor to
resolve the problem.
The receiver is located in Nahant so once it starts working it should
have great coverage.

Any one know why Dutch Harbor in Alaska is off line, used to be able to see who was in and who was fishing.

John, I think the info from Dutch Harbor came from a boat. Station 43
if I recall. I last saw data from them in the Straits of Juan De Fuca,
but could never figure out what boat. Likely a processor of some sort,
due to the relative immobility
