Good afternoon,

Department of County Human Services is pleased to announce an open competitive recruitment for a Data Analyst in SUN Service System.
 Multiple Data Analyst positions, (full- and part-time), may be filled from this recruitment.

About the position: 
This Data Analyst position provides a comprehensive array of data collection, data querying and data reporting functions for two Divisions in the Department of County Human Services. The specific activities of the Data Analyst include: Write, review, and submit timely program reports to all external funders; Actively use ServicePoint, Business Objects, and Access to develop queries to review and extract data from systems for program staff, managers, policymakers, system stakeholders and funders; Organize data into user-friendly formats for clarity and use in data quality, analysis, evaluation, reporting, and presentations; Provide technical assistance to internal staff around data collection, programmatic outcomes, grant reporting; Develop performance measures for key programs with program and evaluation staff, in accordance with any funding expectations; works with external cross-jurisdictional partners for cross-jurisdictional alignment on measures, as relevant; Participate in efforts with data team that promote data quality; this may include developing documents, training materials, processes and other tools that guide accurate data entry; Assist with training and support of external users about program data collection and system functioning, as needed.


To qualify:
 Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in math, computer science, business, or a related field demonstrating the capacity for the required knowledge and skills; AND Two years of work experience in statistics, operational analysis, or a related field that included performing analysis, statistical evaluation, database design, maintenance, administration, and statistical reporting.
