Forgiveness

Forgiveness If we would have a life to live, Then we must learn to forgive. We say we will, but then we don't. We think to fool God, but we won't. Forgiving is so hard to do, But look what grudges do to you. Hate and malice steal your peace, Imprison you with no release. He'll forgive us! There's no doubt, Unless there's hate we've not thrown out. It's like the garbage in the bag. When it's kept, it will stink and nag. "Vengeance is mine. I will repay!" This is God's word. It's true today. If we forgive, God sends us love, And He takes care of it above. Don't take revenge into your hand, For that is God's realm in this land. If He shows mercy, let it be. Look what He did for you and me! Help us to live as you have taught; Forgive our brothers, as we ought. Lord, in Your will let us live. Forgive our sins, as we forgive.
