When life's obstacles and trials Seem like bars across our way Keeping us from moving onward We must rest and wait and pray.   But when time shows us no changes Our faith wavers and grows dim Yet it's here hope strengthens as we Cast our helplessness on Him.   In our darkness hope gives courage Helping us to calmly wait Giving us the blest assurance God will soon unlatch the gate.     When God is silent there's a reason Though  we do not understand God is working in the silence For our good with purpose grand.   So we'll wait and trust God's wisdom Though these walls still can't be moved For it's in this very spot friend Where God's power shall be proved!   ~~Beverly J.
