As we grow in our Spiritual Life, we hope to be able to give up the
habit of worrying. Worry serves no purpose other than to make
us feel miserable, tense and stressed. So many things that we worry
about is not under our control; in fact, I would almost say that
99% of the things we worry about are not under our control. We
worry about the safety of our loved ones. We worry about the
financial conditions of our economy. We worry about what others
think about us... just to name a few of the worries I tend to dwell on.

When I chose to give up worrying about things I can't control, I
find that I can then start to think with optimistic and good thoughts,
My life takes on a positive direction and this then enables me to
find the solutions for the problems that are under my control.

It is not always easy to be honest with ourselves and totally
know if I live in a ..."If only I had done this..." type of world.
We don't know what the outcome will be if we had chosen a
different solution for a problem. The answers are always in God's
hands. Accept the fact that we made the right decision
concerning a particularly troublesome problem when we made our
choice. We would have made a different decision if we thought
a different solution was correct.

So just for today, try to put all of your worries into God's hands.
He will do what is best for you. You can count on the saying...
"when a door closes... God opens up a window."

Proverbs 12;25

Worry weighs a person down, an encouraging word
cheers a person up.
