My latest strategy in correcting intersections that should have
traffic circles, but are currently overlaid with intersecting road
segments is to:
--add a statue, monument, or, at least, a traffic circle feature
--delete the road segments overlaying the traffic circle
--wait for issue 58 to be completed, which will allow drawing of
decent circle shapes, instead of the junky, misshapen circles I've
added.
I recommend people add themselves to issue 58 to vote this up.
