1- Canals are taken from Rivers. (Quite Sure)
2- Water Courses are drawn from Canals and go to the fields. (Quite
Sure)
3- Water from one River to another River is sent through `Link
Canals' - we see these names on Official documents.
4- Distributery, as I have read on many such structures are the
places from where a big Canal is divided into smaller Canals. I think
we need not get too involved in the WAPDA or Irrigation technical
terms. Big & small canals can be all called by their `Generic' common
name, understood by common Users, as `Canal'
Can somebody explain `Channel' plz. (I think Channel is a
Transportation term used where water navigation is done).
