[this mail is sent to all existing Tiled translators as well as to the
Tiled mailing list]

Dear all,

It's about a week or two later than I had wanted, but I've decided
that rather than delay the release further, I will drop the features
that I didn't get around to yet. There's plenty of new stuff for a new
release as it is after all.

Hence, from today on it's string freeze time! I plan to make the
actual release on the weekend of 10th of December, allowing for almost
two weeks during which existing translations can be updated (and new
ones can still be added, of course).

Note: The Italian translator can't update his translation anymore, so
Tiled is looking for a new translator for Italian!

This release adds 108 new (or slightly changed) strings, making for a
bit more work than the past two releases. The .ts files in the git
repository have been updated with commit 94af68a03afd4519bf, so you
can either use those if you have a local up-to-date checkout or
download them from here:

https://github.com/bjorn/tiled/tree/master/translations

Alternatively the translations can be updated online at transifex.com
(though I'm still not sure if they fixed the problems with plural forms):

http://www.transifex.net/projects/p/tiled/resource/master/
(though it hasn't updated yet from the repository, please make sure it
has before you start to translate there!)

The easiest way to update a translation is by using Qt Linguist.
Translations can be sent back to me either by mail, by pushing a
commit to a fork on github.com or by uploading it to transifex.com.

Since a while there are Windows daily builds available, so if you
don't compile Tiled yourself and are running Windows, you can check
out one of those to see the UI changes:

http://files.mapeditor.org/daily

If you are no longer interested in translating Tiled, let me know!
Then I will try not to mail you anymore to ask for translation
updates.

Thanks to all translators in advance!

Best regards,
Bjørn

Hello,
Czech translations are on my Github branch. I'll try and fix any
mistakes I can spot, so ideally merge them just before release :)

I want to make an RC in a few days to make sure we go through that at
least once until the final release. I will try to remember to update
your Czech translation right before that one, and then check it again
for the final release.

And thanks for updating your translation, of course!

Best regards,
Bjørn
