to Map Your World - Issues & troubleshooting
Lately I have been getting "Your last action timed out. Please retry"
errors just while browsing around, not having requested anything
specific. Earlier I used to get these while waiting for something
specific to complete, like a save. Also, the map becomes solid gray
and unusable - I have to reload the page to get it back.

This is of course highly irritating - I'm just roaming around and
suddenly that is interrupted for no fault of mine. And then "Link to
this page" takes me to some completely different position, not the one
I was looking at.

Hi,
Can you please let me know if this issue still persists. Any
additional info (Browser, OS, time spent on the page before the
timeout,etc) would be helpful.

Regards,
Map Maker Guide.

This continues to happen to me. Usually there is a white-text-on-red-
background "Loading..." on the top right corner of the page for a
while before this happens, but it's not clear what is loading. I'm
using Firefox 3.5.6 on Kubuntu 9.10, Linux 2.6.31.

Time spent on the page is hard to say... a Map Maker tab is always
open, and it's reloaded only when I need to restart Firefox, or when
Map Maker does something bad (like this timeout issue) and I have to
reload it. So this may happen after several hours of being idle and
intermittent usage.
