Name change/addition/updating

I am tired.. Now! I cannot change/update the name. I want to change N-50 name to "Numbered Highway" but it doesn't allow with this error..

Bad data (Road Network Has Bad Feature) has been found in this area. Please report this error with a link to this page. This feature requires at least one name

Hi,

We would fix this as soon as possible. For now, make sure you give a "preferred" name in addition to the "numbered highway" one.

In Romania after GMM update all the city/villages that were added in
other language than Romanian and english were translated in that
language...especially in Hungarian. We start to remake all that
changes but until we will do that work that has already been done I
ask here if there is any chance to make it by GMM automatic not by
users that will for shore miss some stuff.

Hello

what olario is saying is that for ex. a City had 2 names (Romanian and
Hungarian) both Preferred, after upgrade and update(rendering) the
Romanian name gone Obscure and the Hungarian remained Preferred.
Now we have to change every city that has more than one name in other
languages and put Romanian name back to Preferred.
Another thing is that description from City Description Field is gone.

Thats not good news and a waste of hard research and work.

yes i have encountered this First name going OBSCURE issue as well and
have been manually fixing it in few odd places. i think it ties in
with the ~ issue.
