The cottage foods bill has made it out of calendars!  The Texas House of Representatives will vote on it on Saturday, May 4.  (If it passes, it then goes to the Senate)

The raw milk and other 5 local foods bills are all still stuck in Calendars, so we're also asking for one more push on those.

Frank says he has enough honey for this weeks market and maybe one more.  With the rain we have been getting (every Wednesday) this spring he expects a good harvest in July.

Green Grass Meat will be at the market with humanely raised, all natural beef.

Eden's Cove will have fresh pork at Manor Farmer's Market this Wednesday
from 4 to 7 PM. If your not ready to buy an entire Pork Pack, then this is
your chance to buy just a few cuts of pork.

Manor Farmer's Market is every Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at Jeannie Lane
Park in Manor Texas. However, I am only there on the first Wednesdays of
each month.

Laverne's Vegetable Patch - This week there will be Pickled Okra, Homemade Salsa, Country Fresh Eggs, Hellish Relish, Blackberry Jelly and Cherry Tomato Plants.

Gordon's Garden beets, lettuce, swiss chard, collards, walkin onions, shallots and all his lovely jams and jellies

Mata tamales for dinner tonight.  Excellent with Laverne's salsa

Ray the Noodle Man with homemade Wendish Noodles.  Just like your Grandma used to make.
