Ride - Sunday 22nd November - Short Circuit via Tempe. - ~40km

I think it is too risky to do the Lady Carrington Drive Ride on Sunday
because of the 30 degree predicted temperature.

This ride is about the same distance but it gives us a chance to start
riding earlier and we are never too far from public transport.

Meet at 7am at Milsons Point RS.
Thence Anzac Bridge, Hawthorne Canal, Summer Hill, Cooks River
Cycleway,
past the Airport, through the City and Observatory Park.

Ample opportunities for coffee and lunch etc...

am going to the opening of the new aquatic centre at mary st leichhardt
commences at 10.30am bike ride to callen park at 12.30 then back to aquatic
centre for FREE bbq lunch any takers?

Hi Steve

Thanks for invite but will pass given the exteme temperatures forecast for
tomorrow. Tempted by the Thirroul to Kiama run sometime - maybe one Sunday
or Tuesday in the next few weeks when the temperature is a little milder.

Hi there folks.

There is understandably no interest in tomorrows ride because of the predicted heat. THE RIDE IS THEREFORE CANCELLED.

You may all sleep in.

BTW. I am in full favour of doing Steves ride from Thirroul Perhaps next Sunday. Bikes do not mix well on trains for long periods during the week. There is no way we can fit such a ride in with the peak train travel window.
