Proposed Ride Thursday 11th Feb ~ 40k Manly

Hi Folks, as there isn’t a ride posted for Thursday (at this time), I
suggest one of our standard rides in the Manly area (and happy to
defer, if a better offer is posted!).

Basically the route takes through Seaforth, Balgowlah, Clontarf,
Fairlight, Manly and then up the coast to Dee Why before heading west
and back to Seaforth. (Maybe a swim at 40 baskets)

Looks good to me. Not quite sure about being one of the 'Mosman mob' but in
good company there. Logically we would meet at top of Parriwi at 9.15 'ish
and then meet the rest of the group at the Seaforth shops at 9.40 'ish.

Sorry to hear you have a funeral to attend.

Regards the ride, planning coffee @ Manly Aquarium and then doing
North Head loop returning via Shelly. Depending how long (or if) swim
at 40 baskets, estimate coffee @ ~11:00. So will be in Manly area
11-12ish. May be you could give me a call when you are on the road
and we can arrange a meeting point? (I will call you back if I don’t
answer immediately).

Thank you Tony for another great ride - loved Shelly Beach and the lunch spot.
Sorry I raced off without proper goodbyes to everyone - Gil needed to get home (so did Liz+I) and he showed us the way up a challenging hill back to Seaforth. In the heat it was quite a feat!  Thanks to Gil too.
