Just met her...camera woman.  Along the trail, also saw her slowing down and encouraging another runner who seemed to be having some kind of doubt..

Congratulations, Laura.  The name Trail Angel did it for me. Wouldn't have known otherwise.  The fact that you were trying to help someone else right at the top of that hill passing the  aid station tells a lot about your character.  Guess this means you really are a "Trail Angel".

Thank the Creator and don't forget to smile and laugh a lot.

Those hats were cool and will be nice once the cold weather returns.  Congratulations to Laura MacLean for her overall female victory.  You will not meet a nicer lady than Laura.  She is a true pleasure to know and have as a friend.  Now if I could get her to slow down long enough for me to run with her.

Kudos to Michael and Frank for putting on one fine event.  Medoc Trail Marathon is awesome.  The swag and food is great.  And I have to admit, that is one of the best finishers medals I now own.  Thanks to all the Medoc volunteers for a awesome job.

It was also neat to briefly meet "Mama Jean" Evansmore from Maryland.  Mama Jean, if you read this, I was the guy shouting "Mangum Guys" as we passed by.  You need to get down here for a shirt run.
