Is it possible to play a Mandala with your hands?

I might be working with some Conga drummers soon and I thought it
would be cool to give them some Mandalas to hit with their hands along
with their congas. Do you think that it would work, or would it be
better to use drum sticks for the pads? Thanks.

It,s possible ofcourse... but It's hard to generate full range of
velocity with hands. And also, your fingers generating multiple
signals to controller because of their flexible nature ;]]
Maybe a finger pointers are the solution?
