Hi,
I have a quick question. I have a Zend application (not my own build) which requires Wordpress posts pulling out and putting on it. The way I have seen is to include a specific wordpress file in the index of Zend, this will then make all of the wordpress function available for use - such as the loop etc. (My understanding anyway).
What I am after doing is adding some custom functionality to the zend admin panel to allow users to also add posts, category descriptions through their interface without needing to login seperately to WP backend - although they still will be able to.

Is there a way that I can include a file (as I will do with the front end) that will allow me to call administrative functionality and also is there any documentation online which indicates what functions (and params) are available for me to use please?

Thanks

John

This sounds very similar to something I was working on a while back and posted a message to this group to see if anyone had any experience. Mike was kind enough to point me in the right direction. See the post here:

If you are still stuck then please pop back :)

Sorry, I would have posted this sooner, but I'm really busy at the moment! :)

The Manchester WordPress usergroup usually meets on the third wednesday of the month in MadLab in Manchester. Mike Little (the very nice chap who organises everything) usually posts messages to this list and puts a post on the group's website here : http://mwug.info/

It's probably worth following the twitter feed as well : http://twitter.com//mwug

As for Liverpool, I have no idea, but Tony is right that this page will sort you out http://wiki.wordcampuk.org/WordPress_UK_North_England
