I should be back within attending distance soon!

Discworld books are fantasy not scifi, but how about one of Pratchett's scifi books? Either his very early 'strata', or the brand new 'the long earth' with Stephen Baxter?

I'm down with either of those suggestions - read Strata a long time
ago and can't really remember it, so either would be a nice new read

I think that's a great list, whichever Pratchett we go with - I've never read any :0 From a library point of view it might be better to have a longer list than normal then if a book is out of print we'll be able to buy the others and still have a good 6 months worth of exciting reading!

oooh... we're going for the Fantasy/Sci-Fi fight are we... well, The Truth - introduction of a new technology to a world? That's fairly Sci-Fiy 8-)
